Jajarkot,balatkarko aaropit giraftaar. JAJARKOT: Police have nabbed a man on charge of raping a 25-year-old woman in the district. The suspect has been identified as Ganga Bahadur Rawat (36) of Majkot-8 of the district. According to a preliminary investigation, Rawat forcefully entered the victim's house, brandishing a sharp weapon, and raped her. Police said that the woman was alone in her house when the incident occurred on October 22. Though the incident occurred 20 days ago, the victim filed a complaint only on November 2. Following the complaint, police started a manhunt of the perpetrator in the district. They managed to detain him on November 7. The culprit has been kept at the District Police office, Jajarkot for investigation. The victim underwent medical check-up at the District Hospital, Jajarkot on November 13. Police said that the medical report confirmed that the she was raped. The accused will be charged under rape case.
