The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority on Tuesday filed a corruption case at the Special Court against five officials of the Baba Baneshwor Primary School, Parsa Dewad-1 of Mahottari. Issuing a statement today, the anti-graft constitutional body said that Chairperson of the School Management Committee Mahesh Prasad Yadav, Principal Rina Kumari Raya, Resource Person Dinesh Kumar Yadav, Accountant Laxman Prasad Raya and Programme Officer Gyanendra Yadav embezzled the government fund allocated for the school from 2009/10 thereby adversely affecting and damaging the school for personal interest. The Commission demanded a total fine of Rs. 240,975 and other actions against the individuals as per Section 3(1) and 3(1) of the Anti-Corruption Act 2002.
