Sunsari,sancharkarmi maathi akraman Sunsari/November 26 Prem Adhikari, Station Manager of Arena Television based in Itahari Municipality-8 has been attacked by an unidentified group at Sangeet chok of Itahari Municipality-1 on November 24. According to Adhikari, 31, the group of about 8 persons attacked him at around 9 pm while he was returning home from office. Prem said that the group said that they charged towards him saying that they would kill two others after killing him. He added that he managed to save himself after running away. Sameer Karki, Managing Director of the Television condemned the incidents issuing a press statement. He censured the attack saying that the same group had threatened to kill program producer Narendra Basnet and program host Manoj Bhujel within three days. Prem claimed of police negligence despite DSP Binod Sharma of Area Police Office being reported about it. He said that a complaint has been filed at the APO on November 25 to arrest the culprits. The APO Itahari said that investigation into the incident is ongoing.
