November 29, The district court on November 28 has remanded Gopal Sharma Dahal, 53, of Biratnagar sub-metropolis-10 in custody on charge of raping a 15-year-old girl. Dhurba Kumar Dhakal, Shrestedar at the district court said that district judge Shekhar Prasad Paudel issued the order to remand the accused in custody. Police was not able to arrest the accused thought the victim had filed a complaint at the District police office on September 19 accusing him of raping her on various occasions. The accused had appeared before the court himself on November 27 after which the legal proceedings had begun.
