Mahottari, Balika lai bech bikhan garna khojne giraftar. November 29, Pradeep Jha, 21, of Nainhi VDC-2 has been arrested on November 26 from Bhittamod check-post on charge of child trafficking. He was arrested on suspicion of trafficking a girl to India from Bhittamod check-post of Mahottari district. Inspector Naresh Mahato of DPO said that Bhittamod police post in Jaleshwor municipality-12 had arrested Jha after he was found attempting to traffick the girl in India after luring her. The girl was handed over to her family on November 27. The accused has been taken into custody for the further investigation and will be charged under human trafficking act, said inspector Mahato.
