Banke/December 1 Area Police Office Kohalpur has arrested two persons on December 1 on charge of extorting 'donation' in the name of Samyukta Krantikari Party. APO Kohalpur said that Lalit Pahadi, 26, of Rokaya VDC-1 in Jajarkot and Man Bahadur Singh, 36, of Garkha VDC-7 in Jajarkot were arrested asking for donation at the Mahadevpuri-based Dipak Pressure Industry. Pahadi, identifying himself as the group's central general secretary and Singh, identifying himself as the Jajarkot district member of the group told police that they were collecting the amount for western bureau meeting of the group. According to police, the two were arrested by special bureau of police and APO Kohalpur following a tip off that they were collecting money in the name of donation. DSP Janak Bahadur Shahi of APO Kohalpur said that the police took control of the group's letter pad signed by RP Baral and its stamp.
