Nuwakot, Balatkaar aropit sevabata barkhast. Nuwakot/December 2 Sub-engineer Rajaram Yadav, who is facing rape charge, has been suspended by at District Education Office. Yadav whose contract gets renewed every six months by the DEO has been suspended on November 28 as a case of rape of a girl against him is sub-judice at court, said Information Officer at DEO Sukdev Chaudhary. He added that the suspension would be effective from November 17. The DEO took the decision after the District Administration Office send a letter to the DEO asking it not to extend the contract of Yadav, who is accused in a serious case. The District court had released Yadav on bail of Rs 250,000 on November 12. He was arrested on charge of raping a 14-year-old girl who worked as a helper at a local hotel in Battar on October 19. The case is sub-judice at the court. Yadav might face a sentence of up to 12 years if he gets convicted.
