The district court has ordered 20 years imprisonment to Amrit Bahadur Nepali, 27, of Madanapur VDC-1 for trafficking two girls in India. Judge Kiran Prasad Shiwakoti on December 3 issued the imprisonment and 2 lakh fine as per the clause 15 sub-clause 1 of Human Trafficking and Transportation Control Act 2007. Bikash DC, Nayab subba at the court informed that the court has also ordered to extract 1 lakh each to be given to the victims from Amrit as per the clause 17 of the Act. Amrit had sold two girls, 17-year-old and 19-year-old in Calcutta, India two years ago.
