Jok Kumari Thakuri, 44, of Keurenipani VDC-6 has lodged a complaint at district police office on December 3 against her husband Rajendra Thakuri, 46, for polygamy. The victim lodged a complaint demanding action against the accused, divorce and partition of property. The accused had married Bishnu Bista,18, of Dovane VDC-2 as second wife on October 12. She demanded for Rs 600,000 from her husband claiming that he snatched the amount from her after assaulting her. The victim, who worked in Qatar as migrant worker, had returned two months ago. DSP Basu Dev Khatiwada of DPO said that the investigation process will be initiated based on the complaint lodged by the victim.
