Bara,gadhimaai melama youn hinsaka ghatnama mahila pidit. RAUTAHAT: A female devotee who attend Gadhimai festival was raped by a group of seven men on Tuesday. The 20-year-old was visiting the religious gathering from from Motihari of India. The gang of men from Kalaiya of Bara district took her to a shanty nearby the Gadhimai Temple and raped her at around 1:45 pm yesterday, said DSP Rabindra Regmi. The police team who had been patrolling the area happened to hear the victim’s appeal while she was being raped. The team immediately approached her and rescued the victim and nabbed all of the rapists, said police. Organising a press conference, police paraded the accused. DSP Adhikari said police are looking into the case.
