Underground Tarai Outfits Submit Arms

Saptari,Taraika 2 shashastra samuhle hathiyaar bujhaye. Saptari/December 7 Two armed groups active in Tarai region have submitted some arms to the government on December 7. Ranbir Singh alias Ram Narayan Yadav, chairperson of the Madhes Rastra Janatantrik Party (Krantikari) and Bhubaneshwor Mandal, coordinator of Tarai Samyukta Janakranti Party Nepal submitted arms to Anand Prasad Dhungana, coordinator of the preliminary dialogue sub-committee of the Constitutional Political Dialogue and Consensus Committee amid a program organized at the residence of the Chief District Officer. Yadav handed over one SMG, three rifles and five bullets, one home-made pistol, four cartridges of 12 bore gun, one magazine and six bullets, according to CDO Kumar Yadav. Meanwhile, Mandal handed over one rifle and its 15 bullets including one musket. Coordinator of sub-committee Dhungana said that the submitting of arms would help constitution drafting, adding that arms raised for political cause would be rested even by amending laws and acts. Yadav and Mandal urged to initiate second round of talks by initiating the release of their arrested cadres.
