Police have registered a case at district administration office of Diktel on December 7 against Amber Rai, 30, of Buipa VDC-9, Bal Kumar Bhujel, 28 and Suresh Karki, 20 on charge of assaulting and injuring a pregnant woman of Rajapani VDC-9. The case has been registered by the police based on the complaint lodged by Mohan Kumari Rai, 19, at police office against them for assaulting her on November 28 at her home. The victim said that she was assaulted and misbehaved due to their dispute with her husband. The accused are at large and search for them is underway, said Inspector Lal Babu Yadav of DPO, Diktel. They are charged under Public Offense Act, according to Yadav. The injured victim underwent medical treatment at district hospital of Diktel on December 5.
