December 13, Nabaraj Bhatta, 35, of Mankamana VDC-9, Dhading and currently living at Basundhara in Kathmandu Metropolis-3 has been remanded in custody for investigation of the charge of rape of a 16-year-old girl. The court, on December 12, sent him to Central Jail. According to the Metropolis Police Range, Maharajgunj, he had raped the girl at a guest house in Mitranagar, Kathmandu Metropolis-29 on November 16. The girl filed a complaint against him on November 19. Police arrested him on the same day and filed a rape case against him on November 20.
