December 12, District Court has remanded Bishne BK, 23, of Hemja VDC-1 in prison on December 12 for investigation into the charge against him of raping an 11-year-old girl. District Judge Ram Prasad Oli made the decision. Mother of the girl had filed a complaint against BK on November 17 accusing him of raping the girl on November 13. He was arrested by the police on November 18 and a charge of rape was filed against him. The girl’s medical checkup was conducted at Western Regional Office on November 18. In another incident, District Police Office arrested Push Bahadur Kumal, 50, of Duerali VDC-4 on December 12 on charge of raping a 15-year-old girl. The girl’s mother had filed a complaint against Kumal on December 9 saying that he had raped her a day earlier. Inspector Gautam Mishra said that police had pressed rape charge against him and that the investigation was going on.
