Siraha, Balbiwaha gareko arop ma ek giraftar. Area Police Office, Lahan has arrested Basudev Sah, 55, of Lahan Municipality-12 on December 13 on charge of marrying a 13-year-old girl. The girl had complaint to the police that she was forced by her relatives to get married to Sah at Shambhunath Temple on December 12. According to DSP Gyanendra Prasad Phunyal of APO Lahan, the girl's father Jogindra Purbe and step-mother Umda Devi Ram Purbe, 48, were arrested and their file has been sent to the District Court for extension of custody.
