Jajarkot, Badhdo chiso le mrityu. JAJARKOT: A 46-year-old man died of shivering cold in Khalanga-1 of the district on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Nar Bahadur Kami. Preliminary investigation reveals that Kami who reached his home under the influence of alcohol was forced to sleep in the courtyard after his family members did not open the door yesterday night. It has been learnt that Kami died of freezing cold triggered by incessaint rainfall for the past two days. Family members are preparing to perform final rites of Kami today. Heavy snowfall and rain for the past two days have thrown life out of gear through out the nation. Snowfall has covered almost everything on the high altitude confining people to their houses. Similarly, rain at the lower altitude has affected normal life causing the mercury to dip.
