An FIR has been filed against Dipendra Pal, 38, of Nimbukheda in Bhimdatta Municipality-15 on December 16 on charge of raping a 13-year-old girl. The family claims that he had been raping the girl since last year. District Police Office’s Karna Bahadur Bam said that the accused would be arrested and necessary action would be forwarded. The family had organized a press conference on December 15 saying that the police had refused to register their complaint.
