She underwent medical check-up after her family filed a complaint of rape at the District Police Office on the same day. Inspector Dilli Bahadur Chauhan of the DPO said that Police Post Shukaura arrested Bishal Kepchaki Magar, 18, of Jalpa Chilaune VDC-2 on December 23 on charge of raping the girl while nobody was at her home on December 8. Mother of the girl said that the accused threatened to kill the girl if she reported the incident to anyone.
