Police have arrested Riuli Kathayat, 50, of Mophla in Badki VDC-4 on December 28 on charge of killing her daughter-in-law Kamala Kathayat, 21, on December 27. According to the police, Kamala died when hit by the handle of hoe while she was breast feeding her child. Police said that the incident might have occurred as a result of long-standing animosity between the two. Police have started investigation into the incident after arresting the accused. The accused had reported police that her daughter-in-law died after falling from the stairs. Husband of both women are working in India. The deceased has a 7-month son.
