Women‚ children rescued from border point

 The Maiti Nepal Periodic Home Dhangadhi has published data that a total of 96 women and children being trafficked to India were rescued from border checkpoints during the year 2014. At a press conference organised here on Wednesday, Programme Coordinator of the Home Shiva Charan Chaudhary said the rescued were made aware about human trafficking and safer migration and handed them over to their relatives. Among the rescued 50 were from Kailali district and 46 from other districts. Likewise, 18 were found under the age of 16 years and 78 under 16, she shared.
