A local youth sustained injuries after an armed gang opened fire at him in Harimiya of Banke district on early Thursday. The injured has been identified as 51-year-old Gobre Kami, said DSP Sushil Singh Rathaur of Banke District Police Office. Kami has been undergoing treatment at Kohalpur-based Nepalgunj Medical College. Kami has sustained an injury to his stomach, according to a source at the hospital. The kin of the injured has accused locals including Sushil Kurmi and Mahesh Pasi of opening fire at Kami over a minor dispute. A team of police has been deployed to nab the perpetrators.
