Bharat Dangal, 23, of Ichwok VDC-3, working as a social mobilizer at Women Independent Center, Melamchi has been arrested by the police on January 7 on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl. He has been accused of raping a girl on December 28. The victim underwent a health checkup at the primary health center at Melamchi on December 28. Police said that the accused has been taken into custody for further investigation at Area Police Office of Melamchi.
