Accused human trafficker remanded to prison in Kaski
2014-12-15
43-year-old Laxmi Lamsal of Bhimad VDC-4, Tanahun and currently living at Jalparoad of Pokhara Sub-metropolis-8 has been remanded to prison on January 13.
He has been accused of trafficking an 18-year-old girl.
The single bench of Purushottam Dhakal decided to remand him. Lamsal runs a restaurant in the same place. The victim filed a complaint at District Police Office on December 17 saying that she was forced to be prostituted on December 15.
Police arrested Lamsal on December 16 and are now the investigation process would begin.
