A total of 30 vehicles were damaged across the nation on Tuesday during a general strike called by the UCPN (Maoist)-led 30-party alliance and the CPN-Maoist, police said.
According to preliminary estimation by Nepal Police Headquarters, 12 vehicles were vandalized in Kathmandu, 2 in Lalitpur, 1 in Bhaktapur, 3 in Chitwan, 1 in Siraha, 1 in Jhapa, 2 in Makwanpur, 4 in Kaski, 2 in Banke, 1 each in Mahottari and Dadeldhura districts.
Among them, 18 were vandalised while 12 were torched.
