The District Administration Office (DAO), Saptari has declared some areas of Rajbiraj as a restricted zone in view of the possible clash among the cadres of the 33-party alliance led by the CPN-Maoist, Nepali Congress and CPN-UML. The DAO declared some areas between Sahid Dashan Chowk and Gajendra Chowk as restricted zone after 33-party alliance-led by the CPN-Maoist, ruling parties and Rashtriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal decided to organise separate protest programmes. Security has been beefed up in the areas. To prevent any untoward incidents, the DAO fixed separate places for different political parties to organise their programmes. The DAO provided Gajendra Chowk for ruling parties while Sahid Dashan and the premises of Shiva Temple have been given to 33-party alliance-led by CPN-Maoist and RPP-N respectively to organise their protest programmes. The administration urged all the political parties to organise their programmes in a peaceful manner.
