Kathmandu District Court has sent Ganesh Puri, 33, of Rupandehi, and Bhuwan Adhikari, 31, of Kaski to jail on the charges of human trafficking. According to the Central Investigation Bureau, the duo was arrested from New Baneshwor on December 23 last year. CIB officials informed that the court sent Puri and Adhikari to Dilli Bazaar Prison yesterday. They had allegedly trafficked four women to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Police launched an investigation after the victims lodged a complaint against them.
