Ilam/Jan 28,  District Court Ilama has sentenced an18-year-old youth of Chisapani to 20 years in prison for raping a 12-year-old girl. The decision, made by district judge Prakash Dhungana on January 28, convicted him as per No. 1 and 2 of Chapter on Rape of General Code awarding 10 years 3 (2) of the same Chapter and additional 10 years as per No. 1 of Chapter on Incest. The bench also asked the convict to pay Rs 20,000 as fine. The family of the girl had filed a complaint against the youth at District Court Ilam on May 24.
