A security guard of the Sunrise Bank located on the premises of the Udaypur Cement Factory was found dead with his throat slit on Tuesday.
According to SP Tek Bahadur Gurung of the District Police Office, Udaypur, the deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Khem Bahadur Baniya of Triyuga Municipality-8 of Udayapur.
SP Gurung informed that Baniya was found dead in a pool of blood in the toilet of the bank this morning.
He said that trained sniffer dogs along with the police personnel have been deployed in and around the Udaypur Cement Factory for the investigation.
Police said that they inspected the incident site and found that the murderers had cut the wires of all the CCTV cameras and telephone before the crime.
The room of the guard was also found vandalised, said police.
