42-year-old Dhan Kumar Limbu of Jaljala-3 Toribari, Sankhuwasabha was arrested by Nepal Police on the charges of attacking his wife a homemade gun. According to DSP Kamal Thapa, head of Sankhuwasabha police, Dhan Kumar's 39-year-old wife Jitmaya Limbu registered an FIR in the district police office Sankhuwasabha on February 13. Jitmaya reported that she was attacked while she was sleeping in bed. Off the three bullets fired one pierced through the left side of the victim's face. Jitmaya is undergoing treatment under police surveillance in B.P Koirala Institute of Health Science, Dharan. Police seized the weapon used during the incident and is further investigating.
