(Update)--Police informed that a 5-year-old boy Rohan Naun of Bogadi VDC-4 was abducted by an unidentified group on February 12. The incident came to light only on February 15. Police detained one on the suspicion of his involvement. The boy was abducted as he was heading for school, the family members said adding that the search for the boy began after his failure to return home. The villagers found his shoes and scarf in a field near the village during the search after which the police were informed about the incident. The relatives said that though it has been four days, the police were acting slowly in search of the boy. SP Rajendra Dhakal said that they were searching for the missing boy.

(Updated)---Body of Rohan Nau, 5, of Laksmipur village in Silautiya VDC-6 was found on February 16. The boy who was abducted while going to the school on February 12 was found dead five days later. According to Inspector Bhimlal Bhattarai, In-charge of Area Police Post Marchawar, the boy's body was found at Marchawar Area, which is near to the area from where he was abducted. Police was investigating the abduction after keeping the boy's relative Pradeshi Nau aka Baldev, 22, in custody on the charges of his involvement in the incident. Rohan's mother Shova Nau said that Pradeshi threatened to abduct her son when she refused to give him Rs 25,000 which he had asked for two years ago. Father of the deceased boy is in Malaysia for employment.
