Two teenage girls were found hanged to death in Tushara of Pyuthan on Thursday. They were identified as cousins, 17-year-old Suchana MC, and 16-year-old Sujata MC of Tushara-6. Pyuthan District Police Office (DPO) said both bodies were found hanging by a tree some 300 meters away from their home. The duo was missing since Wednesday evening. Suchana was a ninth-grader whereas Sujata was studying in grade VIII of local Satya Secondary School. DPO Chief Tul Bahadur Karki said police are investigating the case to find out if it was suicide or murder. "Neither did we find reasons behind the suicide," he said, "Nor the motives behind the murder." The bodies have been taken to Buijuwar-based District Hospital for postmortem. "We are waiting for the autopsy reports to continue with the probe," Karki said. Police are also inquiring about family members and locals about the case.
