Teacher beats up student

Binay Katuwal, 7, of Syaule VDC-9 and second-grader at Jugal Boarding High School has been severely beaten up by his teacher on March 6. The teacher Yuvraj Karki, 30, beat him with bamboo split for playing during the class time. The boy has suffered injuries on the right scapula. District Child Welfare Committee's Child Rights Officer Bal Krishna Basnet said that the boy's family had not made any legal complaint.
