District Court has sent two India nationals to prison on remand on the charge of attempting to take two girls to India with the purpose of selling them. The girls, aged 17 and 15, of Chilime VDC-4, were being taken to India by Chandra Kishor Raut Kurmi, 38, who ran a shop there and his shop assistant Sanjit Kumar Sah, 18. Court registrar Dhakaram Poudel said that District Judge Raju Khatiwada had issued the order. Police had arrested three including the two accused at Tin Piple as they were heading for Kathmandu on February 6.
