The local Maoist cadres of Likunarayan in Likhu VDC have declared capturing the property of four civilians. The land belong to Rabilal Khatri, 51, Moti Prasad Pahadi, 59, Narayan Giri, 69, and Ratna Prasad Khatri, 65 located at ward number 5 and 6. During the conflict period, CPN-M had captured the land belonging to the ‘corrupt and land mafia’. Now, they say that they had distributed it among the villages of Phulching, one of such beneficiaries Raj Bahadur Chalaune informed. CPN-M Dolpa district coordinator Ramlal BK said that no new land was captured but we're continuing with those captured during the conflict period. They claimed that the party informed the return of the properties individually in writing following the CPA. Saying that no one came forward to reclaim the land and left it barren, CPN-M told to distribute the captured land for agriculture purposes.
