A man died on the spot after being attacked by his 40-year-old daughter. Patiram Thapa 80yrs was seriously injured from his daughter's ax attack presumably over a domestic dispute and succumbed to the injuries immediately. The attacker identified as Sharmila Thapa is unmarried and was living with her parents. She was taking medicines for her mental illness in the past but was thought to be healed around the time of the attack. Patiram's wife Jamuna Thapa also sustained injuries due to the attack. She received treatment at Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital. Sharmila Thapa was arrested by the police for further investigation.
