Around a dozen were injured when clash erupted in a rally staged by 30-party alliance of the opposition parties with the police at New Road, Pokhara on Sunday afternoon. The opposition alliance staged a protest rally demanding the promulgation of the new constitution through consensus among the parties. Police barred protestors wielded with bamboo staves to stage rally. The irate protestors vandalized three vehicles following the 'police intervention'.
