Around 51 leaders of various parties have failed to submit the details of election expenditures more than a year after the second constituent assembly election was held. According to rule, candidates are required to submit election expenditure details within 35 days after the election takes place. They have violated the Election Commission's rule by failing to submit the expenditure details of the constituent assembly election which was held on November 19 2013. 210 candidates from various parties had filed candidacy from 5 different constituencies of Parsa district. Out of them, only 50 candidates including those from Nepali Congress and CPN-UML had submitted their expenditure details within the deadline of 35 days.
