Two teachers including the principal of "The elite boarding school" in Lahan have been arrested on the charge of severely thrashing a student of grade 8. Accused principal Kameshor Chaudhary and Jibcha prasad Yadav were arrested by the police based on a case filed against them for beating Bidhyakanta Yadav, an 8th-grade student of the same school. The victim was beaten with pipes due to which he has sustained marks on his body and the back. Police officer Uma Prashad Chaturvedi informed that the two were arrested for further investigation because according to law it is a crime to beat children who are under 16 years old. Ever since the two were arrested police have been facing pressure from different persons to release them.
