Bomb at UML Party Office Diffused by Nepal Army

Nepal Army has diffused the socket bomb found in front of the UML zonal and district office at Pasang Lhamu marga, Nepalgunj Municipality-13.

A bomb disposal team from Imannagar-based barrack led by Captain Dil Bahadur Khadka diffused the bomb on November 28. The bomb was wrapped in a red plastic bag near the toilet inside the UML party office premises.

Chairperson of Tarai Janatantirk Madhes Mukti Party Bhagat Singh claimed responsibility for planting the bomb while talking to media persons over phone.

Inspector Mukunda Rijal of the ward police office Nepalgunj said that they were searching for the group involved in the incident.
