Voting has started in all polling booths of the constituent assembly by-election in constituency number 1 of Baglung since 7:00 am this morning under heavy security. Throughout the election period security around the election, the area is expected to be very tight. To ensure security during the election process APF and Nepal Police have deployed 8 and 7 mobile troops respectively. Similarly, CIB personnel are also posted in all polling booths of the election. Around 52,202 voters are expected to participate in the poll. Thirteen candidates, including three independent ones, are contesting in the by-election. The by-election is being held after Nepali Congress lawmaker Hari Bahadur Khadka died in a road accident on December 3 last year.
