VDC secretary found dead in office in Saptari

Secretary of the Basbitti VDC in the district was found dead in his office today, police said. Navin Kumar Rai, 29, of Bijyakharka VDC-8 was found dead inside his office room.
Technical assistant at the VDC informed the police about the mysterious death of Secretary Rai, as he saw him dead in the office.
It is however suspected that the cause behind his death might be excessive consumption of liquor.
