A person accused of attempting to rape a local teenager has been remanded in custody by the order of the district court. The verdict was issued by a bench of justice Ishowri Prashad Gautam of District Court. 52-year-old Bharta Bahadur Rai of Durchhim VDC-5 was arrested by the police on March 17 for attempting to rape a 13-year-old girl on March 13 while she was sleeping in her own house.
