Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav)-led CPN M has captured 1500 ropanis of land registered in the name of different companies in Thulochaur of Nayagaun Deupur VDC-8 on April 20. District In-charge of CPN M Dirga Singh Tamang announced the capture hoisting the party flag in the land. He said that the land was captured as 'Land mafias' had registered the land in their name. According to him, five companies, including Agriculture Concern of Kathmandu had registered the land in their name in 1984. A press statement issued by the party states that the land was captured 'to stop the encroachment of the state's property as per the central policy of the party'.
