A group of unidentified assailants attacked an advocate inside his law firm here in Nepalgunj on Tuesday. The group of four to five unidentified individuals attacked Nepalgunj-based lawyer Uday Lal Verma at his law firm at 10 am today morning. Advocate Verma sustained injuries in his head and is receiving medical treatment at Nepalgunj-based Teaching Hospital. According to DSP Janak Shahi, the attackers hit Verma on the head with a stick. DSP Shahi informed that pamphlets belonging to Netra Bikram Chand led CPN Maoist was found at the scene. The pamphlets read that advocate Verma had illegally acquired the land of others.
