Man killed over land dispute in Rautahat

A man was thrashed to death over a land dispute in Sarmujwa-5 of the district on Thursday.
According to the District Police Office, Rautahat, the deceased has been identified as Badir Baitha of Sarmujwa.
Police said that krita Kishor Baitha, Brija Kishor Baitha, Laxman Baitha and Dashai Baitha killed Badir after a dispute ensued among them this morning.
SP Sanubabu Thapaliya informed that they have arrested three persons in connection to the incident while they were trying to cross the Nepal border.
Further investigation into the incident is underway, police informed.
