It has been confirmed that a child missing from Sukhipur-6, Dahipaur of the Siraha district has been abducted. Kidnappers telephoned the family members of Shrawan Bhandari (Mali), 10, and demanded ransom. Family members had requested police to search for the missing youth on Monday. Abductors have demanded Rs 2 million for release of Shrawan, a third-grader at local Motherland Boarding School. DSP Madhav Budhathoki at District Police Office, Siraha said they are investigating the case.
