An unidentified group of men smeared black ink on the face of the Chairman of the Consumer's Committee of Small Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Sector in Bokse of Triyuga Municipality-1. Basnet was smeared black by a group of 5 masked men while he was attending a meeting in his office at around 12:00 pm at noon. They also sprinkled petrol on his body. The assailants could not be identified because of the mask, but it is suspected that they are cadres of Biplab Maoist. DSP Tek Bahadur Gurung informed that police have intensified search for the men who were responsible for smearing Basnet black.
