Nepali Congress regional office vandalized

The regional party office of the Nepali Congress at Phulbari in the district has been vandalized on June 12. The district party president Tek Prasad Gurung has informed that an unidentified gang vandalized the party office and the furniture and window panes were also damaged. Police are investigating the case but no progress has been achieved so far. Prime Minister Sushil Koirala was elected from the same constituency in the second Constituent Assembly (CA) election. Similarly, Ram Krishna Ghimire had won the by-election from the constituency after PM Sushil Koirala resigned from the post.
