Nagarik reporter threatened not to write against Labour State Minister

 A journalist associated with Nagariknews has been threatened for writing news on labor state minister Tek Bahadur Gurung. On Saturday morning at around 11:00 am in the morning journalist Prakat Kumar Sishir was threatened by two men who warned him not to write against the state minister. The two men who were wearing a red t-shirt and brown full t-shirt threatened him in front of Jay Nepal cinema hall. According to the journalist he was also threatened on Thursday over the telephone by someone claiming to be the press advisor, Madhu Lamsal of the state minister. In the telephone conversation, Lamsal had said "I know all your personal details, I know where your family members are living, so it's better for you not to write about the minister" Lamsal had called the journalist numerous times to express dissatisfaction ever since the news about the labor ministry's attempt to start a free visa and ticket for workers going on foreign employment, without proper preparation and its dismissal by the prime minister was published in Nagarik daily.
