Police have filed a case of child trafficking against Ek Bahadur Basnet, 41, of Triyuga Municipality-5 on June 22. He was accused of trying to take a 17-year-old girl across India after giving her several promises on June 16. He was arrested in Triyuga Municipality-12, SP Tek Bahadur Gurung said. The family of the girl said that Basnet had used alternative course of travelling through the jungle assuming that he might be caught if he used the normal road. The girl’s family filed a complaint against him on June 17, SP Gurung said. B
